Q. What is Microblading?
A. Eyebrow microblading is known by several names, including microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow embroidery, eyebrow feathering and 3D eyebrows. Although the names differ, the procedure is the same. Microblading fills in sparse areas of your natural brow, which is done by using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. The result is a natural looking hair stroke. Microblading is semi-permanent and is meant to be a subtle, natural enhancement and to create the illusion of fuller brows.
Q. Does eyebrow Microblading hurt?
A. Pain tolerance varies from client to client. Keeping in mind that pain is subjective, most clients say they experience no discomfort during microblading. Any pain that was experienced has been compared to the feeling of a light scratch with minimal discomfort or the feeling of getting a waxing or tweezed.

Q. How long does Microblading last?
A. The healed results of microblading last between one and three years. Cosmetic tattooing is considered semi-permanent as it does not wash away. However, pigments are designed to fade over time. Factors such as skin type, iron deficiency, pigment color (lighter colors fade faster) and sun exposure can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down. For example, someone with an oilier skin type tends to experience results that fade quicker compared to someone with a drier skin type.
For best results it is recommended that you follow our aftercare instructions and have your tattoo touched up as recommended by your microblade artist. Your initial microblade requires a minimum of two sessions. Touch-ups are normal and expected for the best long-term results.

Q. Will I still need to fill in my brows with makeup?
A. Microblading is not meant to entirely replace makeup. Eyebrow pencils and powders may still be needed depending on your desired look.
